Persona context
Tell it who is talking to whom, and the grammar follows.
You set the speaker, the listener, and the relationship between them. ULOCAT turns that into hard grammatical constraints: first-person forms agree with you, second-person forms agree with them, and both are honoured in the same sentence. Set only one side and the other stays source-faithful rather than collapsing everything to a neutral default, which is the usual failure mode.
- Open the persona strip above the composer on the translator.
- Set your own gender and the listener's, their age relative to you, and your relationship.
- Slide formality between casual, neutral, and formal.
- Translate. Change any dial and translate again to hear the difference.
